Three Paper Wonder Video Tutorial

With this video guide you can create a mini album out of just 3 papers. For those few ladies that have the test kit just follow along with your kit. For any other scrappers watching this if you would like to create a Three page wonder, just get 3 papers of your choice and follow along.

Most importantly HAVE FUN!

CHA and Diane Shultz

A few days ago I returned from 5 wonderful and exhausting days at Creativation (CHA to us old timers). Took some classes to learn some new techniques and increase my mixed media talent (which I haven't quite gotten yet) but I'm working on it. Saw a demo on the Gelli Press and had to order one as soon as I got home. I should have it by Monday along with a Fabric solution to test.

I naturally visited the Graphic 45 booth, you know how I love their papers. Midnight Masquerade is, of course, my favorite. Could be because of my love of purple. Portrait of a Lady and Vintage Hollywood are just as stunning. Can't wait to get my hands on them. Scrapbook Cafe ( my local and favorite scrapbooking store) should receive their shipment as soon as Graphic 45 release them.

One of my highlights of the show was while I was taking a well deserved break in the convention center lobby. I saw Diane Shultz (owner of Graphic 45) walking towards me and sat next to me. I looked at her and said "I just love Graphic 45". That was all it took to start up a conversation with this talented woman. What a warm and gracious lady she truly is. We spent about 15 minutes chatting about the paper line, this and that and I discovered she loves purple as much as i do. That chance meeting will forever be in my memories.

As soon as I experiment with the Gelli Press and the fabric solution, I'll let you know what I think about it.

Bye for now and keep on scrapping.

This photo is of me, Diane, one of her daughters and another wonderful employee of Graphic 45.

Welcome to my Blog!

WELCOME to my blog. My intent is to bring to you any new and exciting tips, tools, techniques and design ideas I come across or create.

But first let me tell you a little about myself. I am a wife, mother and grandmother and I am newly retired.
Many years ago I did scrapbooking and we are talking about the time when the wonderful papers, tools and embellishments Did Not exist. Back in the day you had these books of blank newspaper print paper and you would attach your pictures, ticket stubs, and any type of memorabilia. Rather boring but exciting enough for a child  (10-14 years old).  Now lets fast-forward to 2008 when my mother passed away and I was felling extremely depressed and alone. I happened to stop in a little scrapbooking store and met a warm, friendly, caring woman, Julie Huddleston. She is the owner of Scrapbook CafĂ© in La Puente, Ca. We talked for a while and she suggested that I take her beginners class and get acquainted with all the fantastic stuff for scrapbooking. OMG, I was hooked !!!! I started with layouts and then discovered Mini Albums!!!!  I started creating mini albums to show off the newest paper line at the store. Then, with a little prodding from Julie, customers and my daughter I started offering the Mini Albums as classes at the store.
As life progresses, so must I.  So once again, getting prodded by the daughter and son-in-law, I decided to start a blog.

I hope you find my tips, techniques, tutorials, etc. fun, exciting and informative.
