Good Day Scrappers

Rose Gold is the big thing now !!! As far as I know, it started sometime last year. I was first exposed to it with Prima's Rossi Belle paper and Bazzill Basics Paper (Rose Gold Foil). Currently I am working on an album featuring Prima's  Wild & Free and Love Clipping collections.

But what I want to talk about is the Rose Gold color and what can you do with your chipboard pieces and metal embellishments. I found, in my local hardware store, Rose Gold Spray Paint. Krylon has (2) finishes. Matte and Gloss. So far I have experimented with the Matte finish. On my Prima Rose Quartz album, I used it on the Zutter Owires on the binding. Came out pretty good.

Be careful when buying items online that say they are Rose Gold.  Copper is sometimes confused with rose gold, but once you have the two of them side by side you really see the difference. Rose gold has a lot more pink in it. Copper more red.  I recently purchased some rose gold paperclips online. They are more copper in color but they still worked with the project.

I am so happy that rose gold is back in style. 37 years ago, my husband to be, purchased our wedding rings  and they have rose gold in them. Just as beautiful today as it was back then!!!!

Happy Scrapping !!
