Prima Antique Brilliance on Card Stock 2/27/17

Happy MOM Day !!!

Lets talk a little about the Prima Metallique Wax I used on my Rose Gold Mini Album (I showed recently) and Prima Antique Brilliance.  Fun, Fun, Fun stuff!!!  Super easy to apply. I found my finger worked the best. I tried a dauber but wasn't very successful. A paint brush worked pretty well too.

The (4) products I tried was Metallique Wax "Rose Gold", Antique Brilliance  "Mystic Turquoise", "Lucky Emerald" and "Red Amber".

These were my results. I'm not fond of green but I am really liking the green one. Think Wizard of Oz and the Emerald City.  The Red Amber is so close to being copper. Naturally it shows up best on black card stock. (Instructions for applying below)

WOW, same product and same finger, only change was the card stock, I used white. The first photo shows it laying flat, while the next photo is it standing up.

This is the Red Amber.
The color of the wax looks pretty close to the one in black.

Lucky Emerald
Looks nothing like the one on black card stock.

Mystic Turquoise
Again, no similarities to the black card stock but there is a lot of brown tones in the Mystic Turquoise and Lucky Emerald. The true color shows through more while the paper is vertical.

This is how I did it.
Run some  black card stock through your embossing machine.

I just tapped my finger in wax. Don't put too much on your finger.
And started rubbing it onto the paper. Moving my finger up and down and swirling my finger around the paper.

After I  had put enough of the green on, I  decided to add some of the Mystic Turquoise to the other side and blend the colors together.
This is my  result. NICE !!!

I think I will be using these mainly on darker papers only because of the intensity of the colors.

The price is around $6.00 each.

Be prepared, this stuff does smells a bit. After I applied it to a project, I noticed that the smell on the paper did start to go away.

If you don't have this product yet, go out and get some, believe me you will love it !!!
Shoot, even my 2 year old granddaughter has fun with it.
