I just finished a little photo holder. I used some left over paper from the Prima, Rose Quartz collection. I just had to share this. If you want to make one of your own, the information is listed below for the main body.
Notice in the center, there is a pocket that will hold 4" x 6" photos. On the bottom, underneath the 2 tags there is a place for photo's as well.
This took less than 3 sheets to make and not a lot of time either. What a great gift to give a love one or your BFF with memories of your special days together.
For the body of the holder
Cut 1 sheet 8" wide x 12" long.
Score at 4-1/8", 4-3/8", 8-5/8" x 8-7/8"
For the side flaps
Cut (2) pieces at 4" x 6-1/4" then score 1/2" on (1) short edge, (1) for the left side & (1) for the right side. Clip the corners on the scored section.
These will be glued to the middle section, on the outer edged, right side and left side.
For the envelope
Cut (1) piece at 4-1/2" x 8-7/8" long. Score 1/2" on the two short edges and the bottom edge. Fold the flaps inward, clip the corners, and punch the half circle the top section.
Glue this to the middle section, cover the attached side flaps.
And that's it, the main body for this photo holder.
These next two steps are optional, if you want to add a different paper to the holder on the inside or outside at the top and bottom.
For the bottom section
Cut (1) piece 4" x 7-3/4"" glue to the inside or outside at the bottom section
For top section
Cut (1) piece 2-7/8" x 7-3/4" and glue to the inside top section.
Now add tags and embellishments as you wish.
I would love to see photo's of anyone who attempted to make this little photo holder. Post them in the comment section.
Thank you for taking a look and Happy Scrappin !!!!!
